Sacred Heart University alumna Pam Pillo, who formerly served as executive director of graduate admissions, is returning to Sacred Heart to assume the role of executive director of undergraduate admissions. With more than 10 years of professional experience in higher education and an extensive student recruitment background, Pillo, a Monroe resident, will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating admissions activities to advance SHU’s mission and enrollment goals.
College Factual has ranked Sacred Heart University’s nursing program in the top 10 percent nationwide. The program also ranked fourth in the state. According to the company’s website, College Factual ranks programs offered by four-year U.S. colleges and universities through data analytics and insights from students and faculty to help prospective students find their best collegiate fit.
Sacred Heart University announced today that it has named its College of Nursing after Susan L. Davis and Richard J. Henley. The College will be called the Dr. Susan L. Davis, R.N., & Richard J. Henley College of Nursing. Davis and Henley, who are longtime friends of the University, recently made a generous gift to the College of Nursing that will be used as an endowment fund for student scholarships, faculty research and program development.
